ABOUT ME

  • I got started with music as a child. My mother put me in piano lessons, and she says I took those lessons for a whole year. (I felt like it was much shorter than that.)
  • My fifth-grade year I began playing the Trumpet. I didn't feel like I was any good until about 3 years later in high school when my band director (who was also the music leader at my family's church) helped me read the music notes with flashcards.
  • 6 years after High School I created the Modular Scale Wheel which is a tool you will find on my page called "Products that I Created."  All I wanted to do was play my trumpet for the church at that point in my life, but then I fell in love with MUSIC THEORY. Yeah, I'm one of those Nerds.
  • I started working for Cedar Creek Dulcimers (which was a store in the Branson, MO area for 40 years) in 2017.  The primary instrument they sold there was an instrument called the MOUNTAIN DULCIMER. I had seen that instrument at SILVER DOLLAR CITY when I was a child and didn't think then that it was a real instrument.
  • I have learned so much in the past few years and I am eternally thankful that I was given this wonderful opportunity in my life.
  • Here at the store, we teach you how to play various musical instruments at a beginner level. The Mountain Dulcimer is my favorite instrument to share with everyone.
  • Other things I do is put strings on instruments and fix the action of an instrument. If you ever need more complex maintenance to your instrument, I know some guys that can do that kind of work for you as well.
  • Music has been large part of my life. My favorite musical artist of all time has got to be CAT STEVENS. He has gotten me through some real tough times.
  • I think that music is important in everyone's life because it is absolutely a therapy.  In college I took 6 or so Psychology classes because I wanted to know why we as humans lived how we did. but i soon realized i too had my own problems in life to deal with. MUSIC WAS MY SOLUTION. That and my spirituality.
  • If you ever have music questions please dont hesitate to ask me questions. now i do not claim to know everything but I will due my diligence to help you out.
  • BE SURE TO WATCH MY YOUTUBE VIDEOS FOR HELP WITH YOUR MUSIC QUESTIONS AS WELL.

THE "MISSION STATEMENT" FOR MY COMPANY IS TO KEEP MUSIC IN THE COMMUNITY.  MUSIC IS A THERAPY AND THERE ARE NOT MANY MUSIC SHOPS IN MY AREA, BELIEVE IT OR NOT. BRANSON MISSOURI IS A MUSIC TOWN, AND THE LOCALS WHO WORK ALONG WITH THE TOURISTS WHO ARE ON VACATION WOULD ALSO LIKE TO CREATE MUSIC. SOME PEOPLE LIKE TO SING AND PLAY GUITAR AROUND A CAMP FIRE, OTHERS AT CHURCHES, AND STILL MORE IN LOCAL JAM SESSIONS. IF WE CAN'T PROVIDE MUSIC TO THE PEOPLE THEY WILL HAVE TO BUY FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE, AND WE CAN NOT DO THAT TO OUR COMMUNITY. LETS KEEP MUSIC ALIVE IN BRANSON FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. :)
